Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL)

The Women's Lacrosse League (WLL) is the first professional women's lacrosse league in the United States. Founded in 2024 by the PLL (Premier Lacrosse League) the WLL currently features four teams: Boston Guard, New York Charging, Maryland Charm, and California Palms.

The league uses the "Sixes" format—a fast-paced style with fewer players on a smaller field, designed to be more accessible, high-scoring, and easier for fans to follow.

The WLL Inaugural 2026 season begins May 16.
